New IPL 2016 Teams are from Pune & Rajkot

Wait is over, new Ipl 9 2016 teams are from Pune and Rajkot owned by The New Rising group's ceo Sanjiv Goenka and mobile phone manufacturing company Intex respectively. Both won the ownership rights to play for two next year, as replacement of Suspended Teams CSK and RR from Ipl 2016 and 2017.

IPL Chairman, Mr. Rajeev Shukla revealed other bid Rs 27 crores by Chettinad for Pune and Chennai while RPG 20 and 17 crores for Rajkot and pune respectively.  Axis’s bids were Rs. 15 crores for Nagpur and Kanpur, and Rs. 10 crore for Pune. The reverse bidding, Intex and The New Rising take the bid in their side. Index will pay Rs 10 crore each year to BCCI as sum while Sanjiv Goenka has to pay 16 crore.


Before VIVO IPL 2016 Auction on February 2016, both Franchises will choose players from suspended teams. Pune to bid first.
